Physiotherapy

Alison graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a First Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy in 1996 having previously gained her BSc in Anatomy from Dundee University.

Upon graduating she gained her status as a Chartered Physiotherapist and accepted a position within the Western Infirmary, Glasgow where she practised general physiotherapy before moving into a specialised post in orthopaedics and trauma recovery physiotherapy.

During this time Alison published research on cardiac health. More recently she has progressed into the private sector, alongside her work with the NHS, offering both a clinic based and a home visiting service for her patients. Alison is committed to improving her professional skills and regularly undertakes Continued Professional   Development in a wide spectrum of areas. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and is registered with the Health Professions Council, a government led organisation which regulates the Allied Health Professions.
